future development. We have over 200 staff based in our Derby studio,
working on multiple projects across Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo platforms, and
PC.
Eurocom have developed numerous titles to date, most recently Ice Age 2: The
Meltdown, Batman Begins, Predator: Concrete Jungle, Robots, Spyro: A Hero's
Tail and Athens 2004, and there are many more in the pipeline.
We are continuing our search for:
3D Animators:
We are looking for 3D animators, with an intermediate to advanced level of
knowledge of 3D animation (Maya or Max), to produce animations to quality
standards and in accordance with project timescales. Previous experience in
the games or similar industry would be desirable, but is not essential.
Motion Capture Animator:
To work with the motion capture system and its software to provide high
quality animation to the Company’s development teams. You must be proficient
with either Vicon/Motion Analysis software, with experience using Alias
Motionbuilder and some experience of 3DS Max/Maya. Experience in the games
industry is desirable.
Technical Animator (Character Rigger):
To develop skeletal building and skin weighting techniques and assist with
the development of facial animation techniques and motion capture character
set up. You must have advanced knowledge of anatomy and technical character
procedures like rigging and skinning. Expertise of Max or MEL scripting
would be advantageous but not essential, as well as setting up dynamics,
clothes, fur, etc. in Max or Maya.
