Hey frank,
why cannot you just borrow a windows 2000 cd and or do a windows over windows
repair? if this is not possible then format your hard drive(s)?
you can use XP pro or home this hardly a difference(s) from the two. home is
mainly for home users or xp pro is mainly used for businesses but i use xp pro
sp2 when i am at home.
max will work on any OS apart from the lower verisons of windows. No max will
not have less performance. you really need more RAM in your computer. why spend
alot of money on a new computer? why not just buy a new processor, motherboard
and ram? when buying a new motherboard make sure all the hardware is the same.
if they are not your computer will not work.
