If you haven't used an ATI card and don't have any experience, just get teh
Nvidia, quadro or not. It's personal preference... for a while, I've held that
the ATI was better at wireframe display and the Nvidia better at shaded mode...
bit this has always been with unequal cards, so it's hard to say which is
better... most people seem to like Nvidia, so it's a safe bet. THe Dell M
series doesn't seem to have any ATI offerings in their top 2 offerings, so
perhaps the ATI mobile chips are not that great right now, or Nvidia is so
popular, or Nvidia is so much cheaper for Dell.
Look around and see, or just get the Dell with one of the cards they offer.
