Dell is just a brand example, and yes, I have many years of experience with
Dells... we buy them for work all the time. They're reasonably reliable.
I build my own workstations though for complete customization, so No, I don't
buy anyones machines... I guess my workstations come close to Boxxtech in parts
used generally.
I usually use a decent Supermicro board and work from there. Dual cpu boards.
Get whichever manufacturer you trust to make a robust and fast system. I have
no favorites.
