Right-click on the desktop.
Choose: Properties: Appearance
Check the Font Size. It should be set to Normal
Choose: Settings > Advanced
The DPI should be set to Normal size (96 DPI)
Changing these settings may adversely affect your user interface.
Re-install procedure:
1. Un-install max
2. Rename your Max root install directory
3. Re-install max
Reason: A corrupt file may be left behind after the un-install and not
overwritten with the re-install.
Prior to an un- and re- install, you could always rename your 3dsmax.ini file
and restart max. This has been know to cure a multitude of problems.
