BB3 render slow to start

I just updated to Backburner3 (3.0.2) and I've noticed, it takes much longer 
to start up a render than with 2.3. Max starts up on the servers almost 
immediately, but the render takes at least a minute to begin on all servers, 
including the machine I'm submitting from. It's the same with a simple 
teapot test, no textures. And I'm working on exactly the same system/network as

with 2.3.

Anybody else notice this? Any way to fix it?
