Steve - I'm not sure if this helps but both Windows XP and Windows 2000 have
a 10 concurrent remote users limit. Meaning at any one time, either
operating system will allow only 10 different IP's to connect to it. So if the
XP/2000 machine that is serving as your mangager is connected to by:
1. Your machine that is submitting your job
2. Anyone else of the course of the session that submits a job
3. Any machine that this machine has to check to collect maps or plugins or
whaterver.
4. A network printer or two
5. Each machine that picks up a frame.
It may take a few frames to time out the connection but I think that might be
it. There are hacks out there to increase this number but I don't think I
would recommend them. This problem goes away if the machine you are using
as the network manager has Windows 2000 or 2003.
One way to test would be to reboot the network manager (so as to reset the
TCPIP socket settings)and submit a job - but only send it to one machine
(uncheck the "use all servers" box). See if it finishes then.
Good luck
Chuck
