| Net render can't see manager |

Hi,
I've been freelancing for a company, and I've been trying to get backburner
set up for a 3D Guy there, just for batch rendering on that PC to start
with.
It's a Max network licence rather than standalone.
The problem is the manager and server register with each other, but when I
try to net render it just reports that it can't find a manager. The monitor
programme can't see the manager either.
I've installed BB3.02, but it hasn't fixed it.
I wouldn't have thought it would be a firewall problem as it would have
reported something when the manager/server are acknowledging each other (or so I
would think), but they just appear to do what they normally do.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Steve

Are you relying on the Automatic search facility or are you typing in the
Manager's IP address when you submit the job (or try to connect with
Monitor)?
My setup only works if I specify the IP of the manager; only has to be done
once though.

Hi,
I think it was the automatic search, although it was a week or so ago, and
I'm not on site.
I'll give that a try next time I'm over there.
Cheers,
Steve
