Strange error here. Backburner 3 / max 8 sp3 have been working flawlessly for
me up until this morning when I couldn't queue up a project which has
always worked in the past. I've tried queuing up a basic sphere and that works
but even after taking my project and merging everything into a new file it
still won't work.
The specific error's are:
2006/07/24 09:48:11 ERR Error reading data from socket: An operation on a
socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer
space or because a queue was full. (0x2747).
2006/07/24 09:48:11 ERR I/O error transferring 'New Job'
2006/07/24 09:48:11 ERR Error processing archive: I/O error transferring 'New
Job'
2006/07/24 09:48:11 ERR Bad command from oe-d-g7wvj71:
ƒì¸U›,?h$„–&Ϫž^“·j?lû-ÝÆÐw(?í–—

2006/07/24 09:48:11 ERR Unknown command
Then it keeps repeating a bunch of unknown command errors and never submits
the job.
Any ideas? I've attached a backburner manager screenshot for review.

FYI, just updated backburner to 3.02 hoping it would help... Nope. Same
problem.
There must be something corrupt about this file now any ideas how I would
even begin to narrow it down? This is a huge high school which I've been
working on and rendering for quite a while, no changes have been made to it
lately so I'm mystified as to why it wouldn't netrender now.

I seem to have narrowed down the cause of the problem to something screwy
with the "lookat" expression controllers on a couple thousand
billboard
people. I zero'd em all out then reapplied and now everything seems to work.
Very strange.
