| New To Particles and need to do fog |

Hi Guys
Being predominantly a modeller, I have never really touched on particles or
PFlow. I've been through all the shipped tutorials and have a basic
undertstanding, but I'm having some serious issues with getting past them. I can
do
basic stuff, but i need to create some fog that wisps around an object and
is then sucked away.
I tried using blizzard and adding various forces, but I can't seem to get the
material right. I have a combination of noise and fall off in the opacity
channel and noise in the Diffuse, but I still get some really hard edges on
the particles as they fly past. They are also flying past way too fast and
I have the speed set at around 1cm
Does anybody know a good tutorial to do this?
I have also tried the Volume Fog, but it doesn't really give me the effect
I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance
Chris
