Inspired by "Poseiden?" Crashing waves are no simple mater and fluid
simulations are only part of the solution. I did that Intermedia spot back in
2002 and while technology has changed quite a bit, the techniques still apply:
use animated geometry for the body of water, layers upon layers of
particles for the interaction.

Hi Brandon couldnt believe you replied to me coz i just love the intermedia
animation its awsome. And i have read the case study its just superb.Ya
Poseiden and perfect storm are my inspiration.I wanna create such wave.I know
its not easy. But i will try the method you all used. And if i have questions
can i disturb you.Hope you wont mind.Actually problem is when the wave goes
up, in front you need those particles means like foam how to create
those.

Procedural maps are best for foam.
