Hello xtreme324
Well I say that you've crossed one of the major hurdles of the 3ds learning
curve, that being your software's up to date. Congratulations!
Secondly I think MikeKelley's been somewhat coy with you when he refers to
taking years to learn what could have taken moments. “Why take the slow lane
when there are fast tracks available” Even if you do get called Master for
it.
I would recommend you get to grips with a number of packages rather than
sticking solely with one. I used both poser and max when I first got started.
Poser has a friendlier animation set up than max. Plus everything’s already
been preset, so when you use it you understand why "masters" tend to
role on about how important scripting floats and manipulators can be to for your
Riggs.
On the tutorial side I say just stick with the communities there are lots
available and their resources are plenty. It just takes persistence.
As far as plugins are concerned, firstly I recommend you get Gesturemax from
Digimation. It exports poser models plus riggings and biped to max which saves
lots of time.
But I also would have to agree with MikeKelly that most of all, you |
