What is relationship between texture coordinates-texture index array&vertex
coordinates-vertex index array?

Is it correct to use same index value for vertex index array and texture index
array? And then using vertex coordinates and texture coordinates according to
these index array value?
Or is there any transformation between vertex index array and texture index
array?
