Unsecured, non-authenticated NNTP access (such as here at present) 
possibly is, but they have no-one to blame but themselves. The old 
WebBoard NNTP access was authenticated and there were no such problems 
(as far as we know). Had they done the right thing from the word go we 
wouldn't be having this discussion at all. 'Nuff said, I think.
