Creating a Reel

I just completed three scenes for an animation reel, and was wondering how I
should present it.  I believe that I need to break down the contents  of each
scene in terms of what I created on them, and applicable software if need be,
but, do I also need to introduce each scene in detail in the reel itself?  That
is to say, intro's on the disk itself.  In short, what is the
