Windows explorer and Internet explorer share many common sections... they are
tied together, so perhaps reinstalling IE will fix the broken side of WE.
Max requires IE to run I am pretty sure because some of the internal code relies
on IE functionality for sections of the application. Not sure if that s just for
the Help or Information subsystems or if the whole application needs IE.
