HI!
I have been trying to install the 3DS Max 30 day trial
and have been having a problems with starting RaySat_3dsmax9 Server during
installation.
From the event viewer:
"The description for Event ID ( 2 ) in Source ( RaySat_3dsmax9 Server )
cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You
may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help
and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: (1632)
getservbyname: The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it
does not have the correct associated data being resolved for. (0x2afc), ."
This problem was in discussion in 2006 with max 8 and user received solution by
