Where, and how are you using DSCF1647.AVI? Is that for the Environment Map?

Attached screen grab shows the render frame window in RGB and Alpha. Looks
correct, or at least not what you put in the Zip file. I am assuming you saved
using the Alpha Split option. I tried that and viewed the results in Max and
they match my screen grab. Then again I have no environment map, on or off.

Load the scene you sent. Remove the Environment Map (in the Environment dialog,
click on the Environment M
ap name bar and from the Material/Map Browser choose NONE). Render frame 350 and
see if you get what I did. Yours will not fill the frame as much because I moved
the camera closer to the Sphere.

Let me know if the alpha is the same as what I got, or a bunch of solid
squares.

We'll go from there.
