Hello,
I'm new to the whole bone and skin procedure in Max (v9).  I have a hand and
forearm mesh that will need to come into frame and pick up a product.  Not going
with any tricky IK for now, but just going to use FK.  I'm really struggling
getting the envelopes to behave.  Take a look at the attached JPG and notice the
envelope for the Pinky_Base bone.  Why is it that there are verts active (Red)
outside of the outer spline of the envelope, toward the palm?  It seems that no
matter wh
at I do with the envelope, those stay selected.  The problem is really obvious
when you go to rotate the Pinky_Base_bone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.
