MAX 9 User Ref manuals

I found a 3 volume set (in PDF) of MAX 9.0 User ref manuals on this site:

Does anyone know if these were ever in print and if so, where can I purchase
them. I've tried autodeskbookrequest.com and they think I'm looking for the
tutorial book that comes with MAX.  I also tried costomercare ABC with no luck
other than the Autoresponder.  Ya I know the PDF is good but sometimes I just
prefer the book.  Gives me a chance to go to Starbucks and grab a cup of Joe and
learn some new tools..
