Not sure what your talking about here. I have been using Power Translator for
years and it is by far the best Max and Now Maya CAD/Step translator. The Cost
of the product is only 350 dollars and it brings in the Solids and NURBS as
parametric entities that you can re-tesslate to whatever resolution you want. I
alwyas convert to editable mesh and I have never had a problem getting a good
clean NURBS to mesh conversion. Now I have had problems with editing the Mesh
one it is collapsed. I was told this is due to the fact that the Normal data is
stored in the mesh upon conversion and that Max trys to switch back to face
smoothing when you try to edit the mesh. Not so co |
