| Error installing .NET framework 2.0 SP1 |

Hi,
I have a problem upgrading the .net framework from 2.0 to SP1. The problem
occurs when Windows Update automatically tries to install the SP. I have tried
manually downloading SP from Microsoft, and I get the following error in the log
file:
[04/01/08,14:49:53] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a: [2] Error: Installation
failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a. MSI returned error code
1603
[04/01/08,14:50:12] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a
is not installed.
I have also tried to remove the .net framework 2.0 and reinstalling it - both
using the "Add or remove programs" in the control panel, and by using
the cleanup tool
(http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2005/09/27/474744.aspx).
Before trying to install SP1 everything works fine, but after the failed
installation of SP1 everything .net related has stopped working. If I reinstall
2.0 my .net stuff are up and running again.
I'm running Windows Server 2003.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Lasse

So your problem is unable to install .NET 2.0 sp1, isn't it?
Download the one from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=79BC3B77-E02C-4AD3-AACF
-A7633F706BA5&displaylang=en and run the setup again, if it fails again
