| 3D import of SolidWorks Data does not include Surfaces |

I have noticed on several imports of SolidWorks Data that A3D only appears to
import data that was defined as a solid. Individual surface data in the model is
excluded. Is this intended functionality?
If it is intended when is surface data expected to be supported?

Can you please give us more information related to this problem?
I mean which settings are you using to import your file.
By the way can you please provide us a sample file in order to analyse this
issue?
Surfaces are imported properly for all others formats you mentionned...
