I would think that it's an issue with the color space conversion which may not
be properly supported in MediaCore. File it as a bug at
<http://www.adobe.com/go/wish>
You may also open the file as a legacy Quicktime movie (requires manual file
type selection in the import dialog) to bypass all the optimized MediaCore
stuff. Maybe this helps. Also check whether the clip got assigend some odd color
profile.

I'd suggest you ask on either the AE-list or the IMUG list found at
<http://media-motion.tv/> to find someone who has worked with that kind of
footage.
