I am working with a VB.NET application that generates PDF files. When exporting
English based text the PDF works as expected. On the other hand when working
with French text I am getting unexpected results. I am trying to export text
that contain accented characters such as é to a PDF. For example Numéro is what
is being passed to the PDF but it is displaying as Numéro instead. I was
suggested to change the encoding. I changed the encoding to ISO-8859-1 and
UTF8.
HOW THE PDF IS BEING CREATED:

I didn't think Acrobat Capture did the conversion from XML to PDF. Are
you sure you are using Capture?
