Yes, other software has been known to cause problems with Encore

The IT man came and removed the anti virus program from that computer and it
STILL won't burn a dvd. It seems to be working fine until the actual writing of
the dvd. Can you think of anything else to try?
(I did read the article that John suggested. To my knowledge none of the
offending software mentioned are on that computer).
