Default DVD drive

Hi,

How can I make Encore CS3 default to my DVD burner rather than the first drive
it sees, i.e. my CD burner?

Whenever I make PP CS3 burn a DVD project, it renders then opens Encore but with
the wrong drive selected. If I want to change this, I have to cancel the PPCS3
render / transfer !!!!

So, I have to start again - to get the same result !!! Is there a way to set
preferences to default to a chosen drive?

This is most likely a Windows/Bios/Hardware setting

You need to have your DVD drive set as MASTER and your CD drive set as SLAVE on
the IDE controller

How come Encore doesn't provide an option for the user whereas Nero has no
problem with this? Seems a bit amateur to me?
