Encore CS3 - to Flash - Errors - on MS Vista

So many different problems with Encore CS3 it is making me wonder if this is
actually a finished product or not.

Constantly re-encodes flash files.

You would think it would work like the DVD or file function where it only
Transcodes when a change has been made to a timeline.

There are numerous menu issues.

Encore CS3 does not like too many menus and why you need to use a new menu to
navigate to a URL is beyond me.

Error reporting is very weak.
It tells you to remove a menu because it is corrupt?? But won’t open the project
to let you do it!!

Then MS Windows Vista gives the following error when you try to open it again…

I wanted to have one app to finalize the DVD and also make a Flash version but
it really does not seem to be well suited for this.

Yes, Encore will re-encode the entire project when you export to Flash. This is
not a bug.

      ...why you need to use a new menu to navigate to a URL is beyond me.




This is how the GoToURL feature for Flash export was implemented.
