Power DVD button link errors

I have 1 main menu with 4 buttons..

2 link to 18 minute videos English and Welsh and the other two link to a series
of menus i.e stats pages (static menu screens with next and previous buttons..

Problem..

When I build DVD (either folder or actual disk and try the project in Power
DVD.. THe first 2 buttons work fine..linking to the Welsh and English films..

The other two buttons do not link to the stats menu.. they just link to the main
movie..

When I Click on a button to go to the stats page.. I see the highlighted state
jump from the stats button to the English text and then it play the English
movie.. what gives?

All works well on standard DVD Players and also on other bits of software such
as windows media player..

It can't be a Power DVD issue as all my other disks have worked flawlessly..

I did manage to resolve the issue for a brief moment. by deleting the buttons
(created in photoshop) and re-making new ones in Encore CS3.. but I think I
might have re-opened the menu in Photoshop and tweaked something.. no it's not
working again..

Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be or have had similar issues.. it
would be good to know that I am not alone on this!

By testing in several other players I would say that you have established that
it is a PowerDVD issue. :)

Have played the Disk that I have burned in Power DVD and also as a folder in
power DVD.. bith instances give the same result..

Everytime I build a new menu from scratch.. I ge tthe same results!

Tried looking at the dvd in pgcedit.. and all seemed well .. as far as I could
tell..

The same disk from the same photoshop files created with DVD studio Pro has
resulted in a perfect disk.. appart form illegible text.. but that's another
story..

So what is it with Encore that cannot link to another menu?

Ok so I think I solved my own problem.. as per usual.

But just as a not to others who experience similar issues..

4 buttons main timeline 2 point to 18 minute films.. other 2 should point to
another static menu..

Seeing as the static menus were not being activated.. the navigation was opting
to default to button 1 and playing the 18 minute timeline, I un checked the auto
activate on the 1st Button and voila.. the other static menus are now working
correctly in POWER DVD 7 and POWER DVD DX (Dell Laptop edition!
