I tried burning a DVD and got the following message saying Encore was unable to
finish writing the DVD because of a hardware error sense code 0x00037307
I'm not even sure what "hardware" it's referring to: the DVD burning,
the external drive, the computer. So I'm not sure where to look. Plus I think it
may
be a glitch in Encore or a problem with the assets b/c I was able to
successfully burn a different project earlier in the day before I got this
message.
If anyone has seen this or a similar message, please let know.

John, thanks for the link. I had just recently re-installed Roxio and had
problems so uninstalled it again. I tried the link for microadvantage (#17) but
couldn't find the page.
I wrote to Sony (my computer is a sony vaio notebook); their brilliant advice
was to restore
the computer and un-/re-install Encore, both of which I had already done. I also
defraged and cleaned my computer.
In the end, I don't know if it was an encore error, the drive, or a mix. Since
I need stuff burned by tomorrow I bought a external drive. Obviously not the
best solution for everyone, but at least the new burner is way faster.
