Right now, I want to only install Encore3 but continue using PremierePro2
Installing E3 went just fine... but now when I try to run P2, it says it is not
activated

Final followup... do note that I bought CS3 as an upgrade to Pro2
Had to call the 866 number on the activation screen and have the CSR give me a
manual activation code... That worked for about a half-dozen starts of Pro2, and
then it deactivated itself AGAIN
I will GUESS there is some code in Encore3 that would check for an old, updated
version... and give it a command to deactivate
