Quick question: Does Encore need Premiere?

I installed Encore CS3 on my Mac running Leopard and applied the patches that
Adobe has available. I am having trouble outputting any DVD project using Flash,
and no matter what I do to try to get it to work, it just stops on the
Transcoding step. Will not output a Flash file.

I was wondering if I had to install Premiere CS3 to get Flash output to work. I
haven't installed Premiere because I use Final Cut Pro. I paid for it,
obviously, in order to receive Encore, which I usually love (up till now!) And I
can't find any documentation saying that Premiere has to be installed for Encore
to work right.

Thanks. I have actually been to that forum and saw the reports. But a lot of
them seem to be from PC users and none relate specifically to my issue. In
addition, my question is not being addressed.
