Encoding advice for HDV PPP CS# project

Novice Warning:

I've just finished up my first major PP CS3 project. It contains mostly HDV NTSC
footage with a fair amount of photo's well.

Unfortunetly, I'll have to distribute this as a DVD until the glorious day that
BlueRay becomes ever-present.

My question is regarding the optimal setting when exporting from Premier into
Encore.

I've used the "WideScreen High Quality preset" however, I've noticed a
few things on the final product that surprised me. I was prepared for the loss
in resolution but the colors are also far less vibrant. Additionally,in some
sections the video appears a little jerky. This is espectially noticable in clip
wher I have done Time Remapping for slow motion... In fact some of the slow
mothing looks really bad.

WOuld someone be kind enough to walk down the video and audio settings in
theEncore encoder that would maximize the quality of the final output from a HDV
source?
