I am putting 4 graduation ceremonies onto separate DVDs. I put the subtitles
into one of the ceremonies using Encore,(time consuming I know but not in a
serious time crunch yet).Outputted to DVD and everything is great. Seeing how
the speeches are basically the same between ceremonies replaced 1st ceremony
asset with 2nd ceremony asset, moved subtitles to

That message usually means that the font is too complex, or that there are too
many characters per subtitle.

Try selecting all the subtitles in the track, then setting a simple font such as
Arial in the Character panel. Then check each subtitle individually to make sure
that your subtitles haven't run over the frame size. If they have, make the font
smaller in the same way.
