Line breaks on imported TXT

Hi there folks,

I've searched but can't find anything to assist in me finding an answer as to
how I can force line breaks within imported subtitle text files.

Currently SubRip is adding

in an attempt to force a line break, but Encore simply refuses to acknowledge as
to what it should do with this!

Could anybody out there please advise as to what the best course of action is?

Many thanks in advance.

Well, I did indeed find the answer and it's simply to insert a hard
carriage-return within the actual text file, which inturn defines the line
break.

Unfortunately upon building the final project I was constantly delivered with an
"unknown error" [or something to that effect] error message.

My experience of Encore since 1.0, and then 1.5 through to 2.0 has lead me to
have no confidence in it what-so-ever... I chose it due to speed, no other
reason!!

A couple of hours of hard labour saw me re-build the said same project in DVD
Studio Pro 4.0 and... Not a problem, it worked -- dumped it to DLT with one very
happy client signing off the project!! Done!!

Word to the wise Adobe -- how the heck can you bring Encore to the Mac platform
with ANY kind of confidence??

Get it sorted under Windows first before you even consider a cross platform
affair!!!

It's a JOKE... End of!!
