OK, looks like I've found out what's wrong but don't know a way around it
any timelines that I add an AC3 track to it adds on a little bit onto the time
of the timeline for some reason
I have taken a highlighted screenshot here:
<http://www.maffmace.co.uk/encore.jpg>
the one called BS - Storytellers used to have an AC3 track but it kept giving me
the error, I changed it to a stereo WAV and it got past that fine and instead go
an error on one of the others with an AC3 track (you can see the one with WAV
now has the correct time for the timeline whereas with the AC3 track it was
around 20 frames longer

I had a problem that I thought was to do with exporting to Blu-ray but have
since found out it isn't, it's caused in the creating of the project.
Any timelines I add an AC3 soundtrack to the timeline adds between 5 and 20
frames to the length of the timeline making it longer than the video & audio
track.
I have a screenshot of what I mean:
<http://www.maffmace.co.uk/encore.jpg>
the timeline called "BS - Storytellers" had an AC3 5.1 track and it
added 20 frames to the length of the timeline, now I've put that stereo WAV file
there it's got the correct time.
Does anyone know why it's doing this with every AC3 I add and does anyone know
how to stop it?
when I export the project I get an error saying:
Blu-ray Object:"filename_with_no_extension",Error: "invalid
time", Code: "24", Note: "start + duration exceeds clip
duration"

they were transport streams from TV, I just de-muxed them (different sources
though, some US - MPEG2, some UK - h264)
