I have one long video timeline that plays all the way through when I click the
Play Movie button on the Main Menu.
The main timeline has 26 chapters. I want 20 of them to be accessed individually
from the Scene Selection Menu I have created.
I created a Chapter Playlist from the main timeline. Each chapter's end action
is back to its own button on the Scene Selection menu. All of the 20 buttons
successfully link to the chapter points assigned to them however, they continue
to the end of the movie and ignore the end actions.
Subsequently, when I press the play movie button, each chapter ends and goes
back to the main menu. This is behaving exactly opposite from what I expect.
This is pretty basic stuff. What am I doing wrong?

First, remove all chapter end actions from the timeline.
Next, link your Play All button to chapter 1 of the timeline. This should play
all the chapters sequentially.
Finally, for each chapter that you want to play back, and then return to the
menu, create a separate chapter playlist with the end action set to Return to
Last Menu. So that would be 20 chapter playlists.
That should do it,

All right, a separate chapterlist huh? That sounds fair, I will check it out
once I get my encore. I will get back on how it went :) Tnx for you quick help,
really saved my day to get such fast response.

building a track/timeline is essentially like adding new video to the
dvd, isnt it?
Yep.
Until you either add video to an existing timeline, or create a new timeline for
it, the video is not on the DVD.
