Imported a m2v-file into Adobe 1.51, but then problems

Dear all,

I imported a m2v-file after I demuxed it into Encore 1.51. I can put it in the
Project without any problem. But when I put it in the timeline it gave the
following error:

Sorry, an abnormal condition has been detected. Before quitting, you have one
chance to save your project (don't use the same name is the original).

I gets into the timeline, but further on I can't work with it. What's going on
here? It's a good mpeg-file. I want the software to work, as the User Guide says
it can handle m2v-files. I just bought the software :(

Kind regards,

Yes, on eBay. When you have small budget...
Isn't it sufficient enough?

Concerning your name: Looks like you're from Holland. I am.

Guilty as charged. ;)

When you check the .m2v file with Bitrate Viewer
<http://www.tecoltd.com/bitratev.htm> what does it report in the
"peak" bit rate field and what does it say in the box on the lower
right (dimensions, nominal bit rate, etc.).
