Hi
I have a menu set with a motion background. Have tried to render it so i can
burn it. The render bar goes full then keeps dropping a bit and back to full. It
keeps doing this over and over again and has been like this for 2 hours now so
just cancelled it.
Is it meant to take this long? Or is there something i can do about it?
Please help asap as i need to burn the dvd project and hand it into university
by the 14th february 2008!

I cannot imagine the Rendering for a Motion Menu taking this long, if all is
right with the Asset used in that Menu. I've rendered 2.5 hour Projects in far
less time.
I'd check that Asset. What is its format/CODEC? How long is it? Is the Audio
separate from the Video?
Also, do a search on this forum for "render" and variations on
"render bar dropping back," as there have been a lot of articles on
this happening, though usually with the full Render/Burn of the DVD. Some of
these have tied that problem to mouse-drivers.

Hi
I was rendering to an external hard drive. Was told by a mate that that is the
problem, so going to try it again on the main hard drive of the laptop.

Possible but unlikely.
