IMORTED AUDIO/VIDEO FILE ONLY PLAYS THE AUDIO WITH A BLACK
SCREEN

I'm trying to put a DVD together of my friends' concert, but every time I export
from AVID to a QT file, import it, transcode it, and put it in a timeline, it
only plays audio and a black screen.

I went back into AVID and made sure that I exported both audio and video...I
did. Then I checked the QT file, and it plays the audio and video.

I exported the files as uncompressed. Should I use a compressor?

PLEASE HELP!!!

What version of Encore are you using?
What were your exact Quicktime settings?
Did you create a QT reference file, or a self-contained one?

Also,

I recently made another DVD with the same settings that turned out fine, so I'm
not sure what the problem is with this one.

P.S.

Frame size and Aspect ratio don't match. If you use 720x486 then you need a PAR
of 1.2 for widescreen, not square pixels.
