| Encore CS3 clips video but not audio. |

I found the exact same problem in here, but not an answer.
I make a video in premiere in .avi and import it in encore.
I built the disk, check for errors, all ok. Preview disk, all ok.
But when i built the disk, the last portion of the video gets clipped away, but
the audio doesn't.
This happens right after transcodding. You can see it in the encore video
window. (link: <http://www.pbase.com/image/95837167/original.jpg> )
i've read the other topic, but still have no solution.
the only way i managed to work around this in a previous occasion, was to run
the avi file through VIRTUAL DUB, but i ended up with a 260GB avi file for
2.30.00' video file. Just not as manageable... The size that the avi had when
created from premiere was 32GB. (duration 2h32min53sec)
BUT: When i import an .avi that was created from PROSHOW (slideshow) for
example, this does NOT happen!!! the video does not get clipped.
This has happened again with a different avi file, again from premiere.
Something has to be with the codec. But what and how do i fix it....
What can i do?

could the "K-LITE CODEC PACK" be the cause of this?

Perhaps. Codec packs are potentially dangerous. Because they often hack their
way into the Windows registry it may be difficult to undo the damage done by a
codec pack.

I used GSpot (as mentioned in other topics) and here's what it came up with.

This is the .avi file that i exported from Premiere CS3.
