Dear all,
Just have Encore 1.51 a few weeks now (eBay). But sofar I couldn't get a project
together. Only problems when importing (good) m2v files. Also on the forum
almost no solutions.
Once again I have an Error loading transcode preset. I just made a DVD from a
video on my DVD recorder, demuxed it on my computer, but can't import it :((
I also have posted 2 previous topics concerning my other problems with Encore,
but sofar nobody has an answer. I just want to have working software.
Can anyone really help. Otherwise it's wiser to sell this software.

I´ve had Error loading transcode preset. Couldn´t preview or build DVD. In
folder program files/adobe/adobe encore 2.0/presets the .vpr-files were changed
to ".vpr.REJ"-files.
I renamed the .vpr.REJ files back to .vpr - it did not help. BUT after doing the
same rename in the subfolder "Internal" everything works fine again.

Dear Gunnar,
Thanks for your comment. I did as you told me, I changed the files in the
Internal folder. After that I could import the m2v-file. However, later on I got
the following warning: "Sorry, an abnormal condition has been
detected." Once again I couldn't go on.
Also when I imported the ac3 audio file, the program got completely struck.
Do you have any suggestions?

Can you use the excellent utility "Bitrate Viewer"
<http://www.tecoltd.com/bitratev.htm>
and report back on the details from the demuxed, recorder based M2V file? A lot
of these recorders create files that are either too high a bitrate to go to DVD
(deliberate) or else have a DVD-Illegal GOP structure (also deliberate).
