I am currently using cs3 version of encore and have come accross a problem when
trying to import a large (3.1gb)m2v file that was created in PPcs3.
When I try to import, encore starts to try to import but them suddenly closes
down completely. I can import smaller m2v files with out a problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
my system is Inte duo 2 quad processor QX6800, 4gb ram, GEforce 8800GTX graphics
card and I'm using XP Pro operating system

I also have this problem. Encore begins to import and then it shuts down withing
a couple seconds or quicker. My files that were under 10GB .m2v are accepted by
Encore without any problems. The larger 16GB file is not accepted. I guess I am
going to have to break the video into two parts, not good, as if there is a
break in continuity it will not look as good.
I am running Win XP Pro, 2GB Ram, Matrox RTX2 accelerator card, and have not had
a problem until today. The same time I was building this one, I built another
Blu ray project and did not have any problems using the exact same export
settings (Mpg-blu ray, 1440x1080i High Qual 29.97).
Any suggestions that might fix this, thanks

I Just tried something that seems to help. I moved the .m2v files and their .wav
files into a different folder so that they are not in the same folder as the
other files created by Prem Pro CS3 (the ones with the chapter point info.).
These are the same files that would not import when they were with all those
metadata files. They all imported without issue. I built the project. I could
reopen it (before after I finally got it all imported, the project would not
open after I closed it).
