Slideshow aspect ratio bug?

I am using Encore DVD 2.0/

I have a DVD project with 3 slideshows. All the slideshows are set to 16:9
aspect ratio. Each of the slide shows have the proper aspect ratio during
preview. When I build the DVD files the 1st and 3rd slide shows are squeezed
horiztontially into a 4:3 ratio format. The 2nd slideshow displays in the proper
16:9 format. The settings on the slide show properties are identitical (at least
the aspect ratio settings.) The incorrect aspect ratio occurs no matter how I
play the build DVD (dvd players or software dvd players). It is definately the
software.

I've tried to determine what could be different with the 2 slideshows that do
not display correctly, unfortunately I think I have found a bug. I can not find
any mention of this anywhere.

I have had this same problem. Encore recognized a slide show as 4:3 when it was
in fact 16:9. You can go back and select your asset (slide) in the Project
window go up to File/Interpret Footage and manually select Conform To : (pick
your Asset's pixel aspect ratio).

I hope this helps. It is a major pain, but it seems to work.
