I was waiting to see if anyone had an answer for you. I don't see any way to
combine projects or export slideshows. But, there is a work around. When you
render a slideshow, each slide is saved as a preview .AVI file complete with
it's motion. Each transition is also saved as a preview .AVI. The previews have
names like Rendered - cc733c01-19b5-40a7-a9e6-6b6e37d57d52.AVI. You can import
these rendered files to a timeline, put them back in order and have what looks
exactly like your original slideshow. Unfortunately, this is a lot of work;
almost as much as rebuilding the show from scratch.
While the Slideshow feature in Encore is convenient, it's pretty limited. In the
future, you might want to consider building your slideshows in Premiere with
chapter markers at the beginning of each slide. You have so much more creative
control over where you pan to and exactly how much you zoom in or out. You also
have access to filters like Levels and Shadow/Highlight that can really improve
your presentation.

The 99 slide limit is hard to phathom
That's "Fathom", and no, it's not hard to understand at all - it is a
DVD Specification limitation of no more than 99 chapters per timeline.
