Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT analog video capture

I have the Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT video card and it has analog input on it for
capture. And I've actually used it with Windows movie maker to do capture. But I
can't get it to be recognized by Premiere Pro 2.0.

1) Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

2) if that can't work, does anyone know how to convert the window movie maker
format (it slips my mind what format it is in) to AVI that could be used under
premiere?

MS Movie maker will only record in DV-AVI if it is capturing from a digital
source (according to the help screens). The DV-AVI option is gray'd out. I'm
doing an analog capture. It only allows me to capture in WMV format. I need to
check if Premiere will import WMV files.

Thanks Harm. That is a good bit of info to have. I've never gleaned that out of
any of the docs.
