| Tape Striping |

Just got a new HDV cmaera and have read in "PremierePro 2.0, Studio
Techniques" by Jacob Rosenburg that you should "stripe your tape with
a full recording pass" before you start your work. I understand why he says
to do this, but am not sure what it means. Is it simply letting the tape run
from start to finish with the lens cap on or something like that?
