Multi Camera 5.1 audio

Well, using 5.1 audio for the first time in multi camera mode
it shows the wave files nicely in the new 5.1 timeline . but when i go for the
multicam edit (record) the picture is ok the audio drops out then if you start
again it appears for about 20 sec then drops out . you can see nice files on the
5.1 audio timeline so its there !!!!
any ideas from you knowledgeable people out there

For everybody`s info fixed the dropout problem I made the multicam preview
screen smaller it was obviously taking up too much memory.
My new problem when editing with a 5.1 audio timeline in multicam mode if I ask
audio to not look at video I get a blank audio time line If I ask it to follow
cameras it does not see any audio .
has anybody out there worked in multicam with 5.1 sound timeline and if so what
settings do you use so the sound is still there at the end of the edit.(at the
moment it clears the audio)
I have temporary solved this by doing my multicam edit then re importing 5.1
sound and layering it in project lot of time and hassle.
hopefully somebody can help me
