Does CS3 fix the multi-camera editing quirks?

I edit many 1 hour briefings that contain side shots. Main shots have lapel
mics, and side shots contain student interaction with the presenter. Therefore,
when I multi-camera edit, I loose my Audio 2 line when I nest the sequence. So,
I end up editing the video, first. Then I have to go back and edit the audio
which is double the time this process should take. The alternative is splitting
the clips on sequence one and moving the clip above, then below, then above,
then below. Then you end up with a hundred peices of video. Isn't there a better
way to do this?? In my Media 100 days, I never had to slit a clip for a
multi-camera shoot. I could edit from beginning to end and not have to edit it
twice. The Premiere process seems cumbersome. Is there any possiblity that this
is addressed in CS3 or there are plans to handle multi-camera editing
differently in the future or have I just missed something?

I don't know if you're missing anything but perhaps if you view some of the
multi-cam tutorials in the Premiere Pro Wiki <http://ppro.wikia.com> you
will see the intended workflow as implemented in PPro.
