Dynamic Link and 3:2 Pulldown

Dynamic Link and 3:2 Pulldown

Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 - Dynamic Link Problem.

Capture Digibeta footage via SDI input on hardware card.
Footage is a 35mm film transfer shot at 24fps - Transferred at 29.97fps NDF
Footage plays correctly in Premiere Pro as expected.
Place a clip on the Premiere Pro timeline.
Select it and FILE>NEW AFTER EFFECTS COMPOSITION
Once inside After Effects I have to "Interpet Footage" to remove 3:2
pulldown.
The Clip now is 23.976 fps as expected. I can now work on the clips and do all
of the effects needed.

Problem
There appears to be no way to get Dynamic Link to update this clip in Premiere
Pro because of the different frame rates.
Even if you import the After Effects 23.976 fps composition into Premiere Pro
and then place it onto a 29.97 fps NDF timeline, the 3:2 is not added back into
the clip. The only solution that I have been able to come up with is to render
out of After Effects, and import a flattened clip into Premiere Pro.

If you are working with film transfers that have no pulldown, then Dynamic Link
works as expected.
